Core 1 training in EFFT provides Foundry service providers, who work with families, with foundational skills for engaging families in the care of their youth. This full 3-day Core training is also part of the pre requisites for the clinicians and Family Peer Supporters, who will be providing EFFT in a group setting (e.g., 2-day Caregiver Workshop and the Family-Led 3-hour workshop)

- Foundations of EFFT Emotion Coaching
- Behavior Coaching
- Overview of Clinician Blocks (without chair work)
- Overview of Caregiver Blocks (without chair work)
- Case Conceptualization
Intended Audience:
With supervisor approval, this workshop is open to:
- Foundry clinical counsellors and clinicians who work with families and caregivers
- Foundry Family Peer Supporters
- Clinical Supervisors
- Foundry clinical students/interns who provide support to family/caregivers.
